Week #72 - The WEIRDEST first day anyone could have sorry Sister Goodin!

Well everyone, 

 It's been another great week here in Ohio/ Pennsylvania now. I got my cute little trainee Sister Goodin! She's really funny. We literally were over in the chapel of the Talmage building for transfers. She was like and singing and just like strutting her stuff and stuff. 😂 Sister Hathaway was like that one’s yours. I knew it was true from that moment. Sister Goodin is great! It’s definitely different, but it is good! 

 I'm going to tell you about Sister Goodin’s first day in the mission. So I get it from transfers and it's a grand old time. We drive to the Warren apartment grab my crap and then to come to our apartment. Only problem was it's like 7 at night and cold, dark, and snowing. We get to the address the Elders gave us and it's the office..... We tried to call them, but our phone isn't working.... We go and knock on a random apartment to use a phone. This nice lady let us use her phone!  Elders give us the right number, but it's nowhere to be found and our phone is still not working at this point. We go to Mcd's to WiFi to message them. I was like it's been a long day I am going to get a hot chocolate. Bad idea... I go to open the tab thing and the whip cream EXPODES all over me. So now we are homeless and I am covered in whip cream plus the wifi wasn't working..... Sister Goodin is great though and asks a worker to use her phone. She let us! Blessing! The Elders tell us that it's on a different street. Mind you at this time it's now about 8:30... We go were the Elders directed us and no 2719.... we are homeless, cold, tired, and one of us is covered in whip cream. 😂 We turn back around and drive back to the STL's apartment in Warren.... we spent the first night on crappy blue mats 😂😂😂 it was an adventure to say the least and Sister Goodin is such a topper!!

We have had such a good time together so far! She has taught me SO much! It is awesome! Just a few things she had taught me:

1. That I could have come out here way more prepared

2. Just to go for it! She just jumps right in. Which is great because I talk way too much and she will jump it! 

3. Obedience is key! Is something I knew, but she is SO obedient! She is so willing to be obedient and we already seeing miracles because if it. It’s AWESOME! 

Some cool things then I got to go unpack because I haven't yet. 

So our standards for our mission is finding 5 new people and we were determined to get it our first week! We decided our first day to go stop by some of our people that the Elders taught. We go down this street and we got in contact with all of them! What a blessing! We are walking down the street we meet this guy named John. He is SO cool! He was like hey you need to meet all of my friends. They were at Klassy Cuts. Yes, it's classy with K 😂😂😂 We go in and teach everyone in the barber shop. It was lit!!!! They all were great! 

Missions are great!
