Hola!
This week has been another great week here in Warren! I got
my hand kissed by an old guy again, talked to our sober friends, saw Anitta and
did some cleaning at her house with Sister Myers, moved furniture around for
Sister King, had a trunk or treat, ate a bunch of candy #rollingfordays, got to
go out with the one and only Ginny (she a real fun time), was on a half
exchange with the new castle sisters, saw Heidi and Kimmy, and so much other
stuff. These were really just the high lights.
First of Ginny is the cutest! She is a senior in High school
and has been coming out with us a bunch and it's a real good time! She is so
cute! She will find us all these good Christian songs that we can listen to and
we jam as we go to lessons! If you just go down to the first pic you will see
how great Ginny is! Also she is a power house man if we ever don't know an
answer she has the answer. She is THE BEST! Okay, funny story with Ginny. We
took her to a sober house 😂 Its a house full of
drug addicts who are sober. They all are really cool, but we aren't allowed in
the house. We got a pass from the Sober house operator to sit on the porch. He
said and I quote, " The only women that are allowed on this porch are the
missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint" 😂
Good old berry! Anyways, we take Ginny and she was like if this is a sober
house then why do you smoke and they were all dumb founded and then they were
like we ain't like you. We drink coffee and tea too. Then one of them was like
what?!? Do y'all drink caffeine and we said yes, but Ginny said no. They were
like what do you drink and she said just said water and they were like what if
you get bored of it. She said (very sarcastic), " if I get crazy I add a
lemon to it"😂😂😂 oh
man it was way better in person, but Ginny is great!
One last story then I got to go because we still have to do
our shopping. We had the one and only Sister Myers who also is another gem! She
is SO funny! She didn't find the church tell she was a grandma and she is making
up for lost time as she puts it. Oh man! She is a busy lady! She came out with
us and for some reason every time with her our appointment falls through. We
went to our backups and stopped by Anitta because we hadn't heard from her in a
bit and she has been REALLY sick! Anitta is one of sweetest ladies I have ever
met and she is such a trouper especially with all that she has going on in her
life. We ended up there and she still is REALLY sick and we were able to help
her clean up her kitchen! Sister Myers was on her hands and knees mopping the
floor and she wouldn't let us do it! 😂 Anitta loved it we had
some good laughs then we had to go. It was cool because that is where we needed
to be, so God made it possible by canceling our appointment. God is GOOD!
One last thing is I don't know if I have ever mentioned
Sister Saunders, but she is a FIRECRAKER! She is almost 80 and acts like she is
25 😂😂😂 She comes out with us a
lot too and oh my goodness! Today we went to lunch with this guy named Bill and
she came with us and oh my! It was a hoot in a half. I have been trying for the
past 5 minutes thinking of ways to describe her and explain a story, but I just
can't do it. The best I could come up with is that she is like Joyce on
steroids 😂
