Well Everyone.... this is it... the final weekly email...

 

That is right I think I will get out of denial and face the fact that I go home in 9 days, but this is my last pday. I have mixed feelings on it. I am excited for home, but I don’t want to leave this blessed land of Ohio. I have LOVED  it out here! I have seen SO MANY MIRACLES out here. I have met some of my best friends and have gotten to do the Lords work, so it's been a real good time. I know that this is the Lords work because if it wasn’t then I would have messed it up a long time ago, yet it still goes forward. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ church again restored on the earth. I know that God has restored it to the earth because He is our loving Heavenly Father and He wants us to return to Him. The only way to do that is by following our Savior and His teachings. Which is to have Faith Him, repent, be baptized, receive the Holy Ghost, and endure to the end. I know that as we do those things we will find joy in this life! I am grateful to have this opportunity to serve! 

 

This week though has been fun! We had exchanges and I got to go back to Warren for the day with Sister McElhaney! #WHATABLESSING Sister McElhaney is really great! I miss being her comp sometime because we have a good time eating all the gluten free stuff together. That and teachin people about Jesus. 

 

We also found out that two of our people have bed bugs.... yet for some reason people think it is okay to have people over when they have bed bugs.... Luckily, if you want to count it as luck I remembered my time in Sandusky and I knew what to do. We came back to our apartment and started washing everything. I think Ohio just wanted me to remember it 😂😂😂 We think we are bed bug free, so that is good. 

 

Oh cool thing from this week! We were knocking on doors and we meet this guy named Bradley. He had met with missionaries in the pass and he answered the door saying, "I believe in The Book of Mormon." Then he tells us how he is still reading and he knows the Joseph Smith is a prophet. We are like what do we do with that because we are shell shocked. We got our crap together and invited him to church and we are seeing him this Friday! 

 

One last fun! We had a lesson with this guy named Tristen. We had Brother Thibideau and Sister Fellows and it was so good. We ended up talking about the priesthood and how you don’t need a formal education to receive the priesthood because Christ apostles were simple fishers and they got the priesthood. We then compared that to Brother Thibideau and it was too good! It was so much shade being thrown at him. He was a good sport and took it. He sent it back though talking how God works through the week and simple aka us 😂 it was a bomb lesson though!
