Hola
Friends!
This
week has been a week that is for sure!
First
and foremost, Heidi and Kimmy got baptized!!!! It was SO good! Sister Cox and
Sister Chance got to video in! Sister Chance is in a different mission now, so
we pulled some strings and surprised Heidi and Kimmy with Sister Chance. It was
awesome! Heidi and Kimmy are really great! Kimmy almost couldn't make it to
church on Sunday to get the gift of the Holy Ghost, but we got it figured out
she had to wear her work uniform to church. She is dedicated! It's awesome!
The
rest of this week was kind of crazy. Yesterday we went and visited the major
college campuses in our zone. President Stratford wanted us to talk with all of
them and make sure we had approval to go proselyting on the campuses. It was SO
weird to be around people my age. Also funny to see what kids my age are doing
and what I am doing. I am SO grateful I have the restored gospel and came
on a mission!!!! This is truly the best thing ever! Y'all should go on a
mission!
Cool
and funny thing from this week. The other day Sister Franks and I were setting
goals in the morning and we decided that we wanted to find 2 new people that
day. Which would be a push because we had like no finding time, but we felt
good about it. One of our appointments fell through in the morning and we were
able to find one new there. His name is Jordan and he is cool. He loved the
Plan of Salvation as we taught it to him. We only had 1 more to find and we
have been finding machines and we had about 30 minutes to find, so we were
solid. Everything ended up changing around and we didn't end up having any
time.... We were walking into an appointment and this guy named Bill drove up
and asked us if we were lost. We were walking from the street to the house.😂😂😂 We talked to him for about 5 minutes and
were able to teach him some of Restoration. Bam just like that we hit our goal.
It was really cool. When we set righteous goals and have God on our side
miracles happen! It was SO good! It’s all in God's timing.
God
is good!
Love,
Sister
Barrow
