Hello Everybody!
This has been a busy week! We had exchanges, zone conference, and we got to talk to our fams! What a blessed week this has been.
Exchanges were awesome! I went with Sister Larsen and she is a fantastic unicorn! She has such a strong testimony of Christ and His Atonement and how because of Him we can make it through a the junk that is in our lives! With her we did a lot of service. We cut down some trees and that was a party! Oh funny story with her real quick is that we were walking in a park talkin to our brothers and sisters and this guy was running we waved at him. Then realized he was wear a PARK CITY shirt! Sister Larsen and I said something about his shirt and he stopped running and started talking to us. He was like speed walking bc he was just running. We are like speed walking with this guy and teaching the Restoration of the gospel. Hahahaha I was slightly out of breath once we finished, but it was a good time.
We also had Zone Conference and that was a party! Got to see some of friends! Sister Maples, Sister Stratford, Sister Gravin, Sister Larsen, Sister Heaton, Sister Page, and Sister Wadley. Oh and President and Sister Brown, so it was a top notch party. Zone Conference was good! I learned a lot the spirit was super strong! President Brown talked about how he has been picking our new missions for us and it was so sad. Him and Sister Brown said, " It's like picking new parents for your kids." I love President and Sister Brown! I am sad that this is there last transfer. I know that I will end up in the right mission and that they will have fun being back home. They are amazing people and I love them!
This week we also got to call our fams! What a blessing that was! I got to see Forrest ginger beard and his long locks. Got to talk to Keats on her bday and now she is an adult - barf sauce! Got to see Kenz and Carson. Talk about mission stuff with Carson and work with Kenz. I also got to see all of the doggos! What a blessing! Then of course I got to talk to my wonderful parents. My dad wiggled his finger for me and my mom gave me a tour of the house. I even got to see outside! It was a such a blessing! My family is really awesome! I love them!
Okay now onto some funnies. So with the warmer weather here means bugs have started to come out and play. However, I do not like bugs and I really don't like spiders.... right now though we have a giant web sitting just outside our door. We both just duck around it. Hahahahaha. Sister Golden took a snow shovel to it the other day, but the spiders just rebuilt. Hahahaha. I believe that one of those spiders came into our house. Sister Golden went to go up stairs to grab something and screamed and stop at the step and yelled that there was a spider. I went and checked it out and it was a big guy! It was sitting in a place that you couldn't kill it on the steps, so we decide to gas it out. Our choice weapon was air fresher. We sprayed him, but he was a fighter and I screamed a lot. We got him to the surface and then I stepped on him and killed him. We both don't want to pick him up though hahahaha. He is still just sitting on the steps with a paper towel over him and the air fresher next to him. Hahahahaha. Another funny is that we had like 15 minutes before we had to head home for the night on Saturday and we needed to get gas, so we were going to get gas and we wanted to talk with a lot of people while we were there and there is this gas station that is always busy. We were like let's go there, so we can talk with all the peeps. We get there and it is a full service gas station....so we didn't even get out of our car hahahahaha. There went that plan. It was good though we talked with the guy that filled our car and gave him a pass along card and invited him to go check mormon.org out.
It's been a quality week! Hope y'all have a great week!
