Sister Barrow Week #24 - Can't unsee the man boobs 12-20-2017

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Ohio is still great! Sister Lloyd and I are still having a party! This week has been good! We have shoveled like 3 driveways in skirts, I slipped on the ice like 50 million times, been told we were narcissistic, and had a guy answer the door with no shirt and he had some gross chest hair and man boobs. To top it all off we got Chloe our investigator on date so, basically have had the best week ever!

This week in my reading I have been reading about King Benjamin. Which for those of you who don't know is a cool guy who was the king of the Nephites. He knew that he was about to die so, he got all of his people together. He turned the kingdom over to his son Mosiah and held like the first general conference. It is a great time! One thing I liked though was after King Benjamin does this great talk the people choose to change and repent based off of what they were just taught. It is up to us to change. We can’t force anyone to change. It reminded me of the missionary purpose in Preach My Gospel. Which says that we as missionaries are just here to invite. That is how it is with everything though. It is up to the individual to change. That is something I got from my reading this week. I would love to hear what you guys get from your reading!

Now onto the stupid/silly things that I do through the week.... Somedays I am surprised that God still lets me be out here because this idiot can’t speak English really well and I say stupid stuff like A LOT. Example, one with the guy that had gross chest hair and man boobs. It was cold and raining and I was wearing my glass so, I could see. Anyways, we knocked on his door and we were talking with him and I was trying to grab a card but, I couldn't see because my glass were fogging up because of the warm air coming from his house. So, I said sorry my glasses are fogging up and he just looked at me with a look that said that I have that effect on women. hahahaha. Never going back to that house so, we are all good. Another funny story is yesterday night I am just sleeping away you know it is night so, I am sleeping. Well, for some reason Sister Lloyd wakes up at 11:15 pm thinking it is 11:15 am. She starts panicking that we are late to Zone Conference. In the process she wakes me up and I am trying to figure out what is going on and she just keeps saying that we are going to be late. I am just half asleep thinking my comp has gone crazy. She finally realizes that it is still dark outside, it's 11:30 at night now and not am. Good news, we weren't late to Zone Conference but, we were a little tried. hahahaha

Well, I hope you all have a great Christmas!

Love ya,

Sister Barrow #23 - Basically Summer..... JK it is like 10 degrees like ALL the time

Hello Everyone!

How is everyone doing? How is Light The World going for everyone? Light The World as a missionary is a party! For example yesterday we went over to the Tarantinos to make bread to give out to people! Then today we are trying to ask more people for service and just smiling at people. It is fun time. We actually get a lot of funny looks and there was one lady who stopped and asked if she knew us. hahahahah. Light The World is great! I would encourage each of you to do. Just start today and go to Christmas.  Other than Light The World this week has been solid. Finally, had to get the winter boots out this week. We also went tracting in like 19` weather.  Luckily there was an angel lady who let us in and warm up. Like Sister Lloyd says there are angels all around us.

This week. I am going to share one of my favorite scriptures. Which is Alma 7:11-12. Talks about how with Christ suffered for us so, that he can succor us. Christ truly did suffer for us and more then just for our sins but, so we could have someone to understand us and to help us.

Now onto the funnies! Woot Woot! The first one is that I fell on the ice yesterday. hahahaha. We were out knocking on doors and we were just walking down the driveway and I just slipped and fell. Second one happened yesterday too. I was cooking some hamburger and I might have set the smoke alarm off..... hahahaha. Don't worry though the food still tasted good. It wasn't even burnt. hahahah. The last funny is just the ward Christmas party. Oh my just so many good laughs! The primary and young men and women put on a nativity. It was so good!  We even had Santa there! True party here in Alliance. At one point the Relief Society president sat on Santa's lap! hahahah. There are some golden picture of Santa.

Well I hope you all of have a great week!

Oh also thanks to everyone who has sent me a Christmas card. I love getting them!

Love,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week #22 - Dying in a hole or wanting to 12-6-2017

What happens when the headache wins..... Glad she is doing better!

Hello Everyone!

This week has been a crazy week! First off is that I have to deal with Sister Lloyd's crazy driving now. hahahah Jk she is a great driver. I guess I will let her drive though because she does have to play the piano every week because there is like no one that can or will play. This week has been a pretty good week though. Oh, and Light The World is awesome! I hope you all are having a good time doing it!

Okay crazy story! So, since like last Saturday I have had a headache. Nothing too crazy until last Wednesday. I woke up and had a crazy headache. I felt like someone was crushing my head so, after some persuasion by Sister Lloyd. I called Sister Brown (Mission President's Wife). She told me just to take some meds and go back to bed. Well, I did that and I felt a little better and we had work to get done so, we went out tracting and nothing beside my head started hurting worse... We had a couple of visits we had to do but, then we went home, and I went to bed. The next day I wasn't any better so, another call to Sister Brown. She then called Doctor Lewis (He is a retired Doctor that helps us). He called me and told me to take some different meds. I went and bought the meds and a nice fuzzy blanket because that always helps when you are sick right. :) Sister Brown also told me I should get a blessing, and this is something Sister Lloyd has been telling me to do since my head started hurting so, I figured I probably should. We called Brother Tarantino up and I asked him if he would be willing to and of course he said yes. However, we had to wait until later that night because we had appointments we had to go to. Well, finally we were able to go and get a blessing and Brother Tarantino got Brother Fink to help with my blessing! It was a wonderful bless and I am feeling 10000x better! Come to find out Brother Fink hasn't given a blessing in over 39 years!!!! Brother Fink is a less active we have been working with since before I got here. Anyways, fast forward to Sunday. We had a lesson with him and we taught him the Plan of Salvation with the Tarantino's. It was the BEST LESSON ever! He opened up to us and he is a VERY closed off man about his last blessing he gave. He gave it to his dad before a heart surgery and everything in the blessing came true. They only problem was that his dad never woke up. He then gave him a final blessing asking for him to pass away without hurting. Since then he never gave a blessing because he felt like it was his fault that his dad died. We were able to explain the rest of the plan of salvation and talk about it. It was honestly amazing! Sister Lloyd had an amazing testimony that really brought the spirit! Brother Fink even started crying! It was just an amazing lesson! I wish I could explain more about but, all I can say it that it was amazing, and that God truly works in crazy ways.

Now after that crazy story now onto some funny ones. Brother Maxon! Oh man! This guy is so funny. We have been working with him for a while. He is a funny man! He is an older single guy. Not too old only about 68 or something like that. Anyways, he was asking how to do stuff on familysearch so, we were helping him. After we get done with that he asks us if we could help him to set up an account on a dating website. hahahaha. We didn't know how to respond luckily, we had a member with us and they just took over and we left. hahahaha. Oh, funny story with Light The World. On the 2nd we were helping with a funeral. We got to serve ice cream it was like the best thing ever! At one-point Sister Lloyd is says that she is thirsty so, I go and get her some water. When I come back I asked if that could count for Light The World. Hahahahaha.

That's all for this week!

 Love all y'all,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week #21 - #lighttheworld

Hola!

Hope everyone has had a great week! Out here it has been a party! I don't really know what to say about this week. I honestly can’t remember what even happened this week. It has been a total blur with transfers being this week. Speaking of transfers, we learned that Sister Lloyd and I will be staying in Alliance for another transfer! Woot Woot! The party will continue. I am excited to stay here and be here through Christmas! Oh, and speaking of Christmas. Have all of you guys heard about #Lighttheworld? Oh man! It is SO good! It is just really how we can be Christ hands this Christmas season. I would encourage each of you to go look at mormon.org and learn more about it.

I wanted to share with you guys something from my studies this week. I was reading Ether 12. Which is such a quality chapter! In the first part it talks a lot about faith and I really like verse 12. Which says. "For if there be no faith among the children of me God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed not himself until after their faith." When I read that I thought of Polar Express. Keep with me it is great! When the main kid is standing the town - square looking at the bells and he still can't hear them. It isn't until he acts and says that he believes in Santa that he is finally able to hear the bell. Then he was able to see Santa and was given the first gift of Christmas. That is the same with us and God. God doesn't just doesn't give us things and just like the scripture says he doesn't show us himself until after are faith. We need to hear the bells then we can see how God is working in our lives. I hope that makes sense.

Now onto what people actually read, the funnies. I have learned, or semi learned how to embroider over the past couple of weeks. These two old ladies Sister Hughes and Sister Tharp gave us pillowcases a couple of weeks ago and we have been working on them. We thought it would be a good idea if we took it over and they helped us with it. Well, they were super excited about it! They taught me how to do this back stitch then and something else. hahaha so, I am basically a sewing expert now. ;) After they showed us this Christmas house! It is Christmas to the MAX! I would even go as far as comparing it to temple square. It is that great!

Well, that is all for this week!

Love ya,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week #20 - Kyle

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Hope you all are having as great of a Thanksgiving that I am. We have some amazing members here that let us email on the computers and give us some great food! Karen our recent convert even made me some gluten free stuffing. Geez, It has been a great day! Sister Lloyd and I also decorated for Christmas today so, it has been a solid day so far.

Something from my reading this week that I liked is Romans 8:26 and 27. It talks about how during prayers that God understands us and He helps us during the pray to ask for things so, He can bless us and help us. It actually reminded me of Sister Marriott talk from this past conference and how she was praying and He told her to love her. It is a great talk I would highly suggest reading it. :)

Now onto things that happened this week. It has been a crazy week! We have had so much fun this week. Funny thing happened this week. We were out walking around because it was actually warm so, we figure we would walk to things. That and it is a great time to contact people. We were walking, This, guy was sitting outside smoking, I was like we should talk to him but, how? Well, I just said the first thing that popped in my head. I told him that he would be warmer if he didn't smoke and he just laughed and said your right. hahaha. We got talking with him and ended up giving him a Book of Mormon. hahaha. Oh, and then moments before this I fell into a hole. Well, I like created a hole. We were walking along and for some reason in Ohio there are like no sidewalks. We were walking on the grass when I just fall through. hahaha I like almost fell on my face.

Well, that was basically my week. Hope y'all have a great week!

Love ya!

Sister Barrow Week #19 - Scaring Kids! Say What?

 Found the "MTC" in Ohio

Hello Everyone!

This has been crazy week! First off this ward is amazing! We had two investigators at church and this ward was awesome! They just took them right in and helped them. We did nothing! Which made our investigators time at church SO much better! It made all of the difference to them enjoying church! I encourage all of you to say hello to people at church. It makes a huge difference of them wanting to be there. Even if it is an active member. You never know how far your hello will go!

Oh I wanted to share with you guys something that Sister Lloyd says all the time. Which is actually a quote from The Field of Dreams. The quote is, "If you build it they will come!". Which has become our motto out here. If we do the work and do what the Lord wants us to do. They will come.

Now onto the funny stories for this week. One night all of our plans fell through and we can't just go home early. We still got work to do so, we went to our backup plan and we went tracting. We were on our last house of the night and we knocked on it and this young kid maybe about 8 answers. He screams and had the most terrified look on his face and then slammed the door. He apparently didn't expect to missionaries at his door. Hahahaha. We didn't know what to do but, then the dad came to the door and all was good. Oh man was that little kid scared though.

That's about it for this week!

Love all y'all!

Sister Barrow Week #18 - Rollercoaster Week

Hello Everyone!

Sorry I don't have a ton of time this week but, it has been a great week! The coolest thing happened this week! We met this lady named April about a week or two ago, taught her the Restoration, gave her a Book of Mormon and invited her to start reading it.  We were finally able to meet with her again this week and we were just planning on read The Book of Mormon with her so, we asked her where she was and she said she FINISHED IT! She read the whole Book of Mormon in like 2 weeks! Sister Lloyd and I didn't know what to do with that! We just talked about the Book of Mormon with her and what her favorite stories and stuff was. It was a great time!

Now one quick funny story then I have to go. We were visiting Sister Stiver and helping her because she fell last week and broke her ribs. We were over there helping her and talking with her. She was telling us how she can't see colors very well anymore because of that she doesn't match all the time. She finally has gotten to the point that she doesn't care so she said, " If you don't like it don't look". Hahahah this lady is great! Oh, we also were doing some laundry for her in her basement and down there was a porn magazine so, the 91 year old lady had a porn magazine in her basement. Hahaha. We didn't know how to tell her it was there so, we just left it. Hahahahaha!

That's all for this week! Sorry it is so short! I will send a better one next week!

 Love ya,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week #17 - Freezing to Death

Hello Everybody!

How are all you guys doing? This week has been a cold but, good week. We haven't gotten snow but, I pretty sure I might freeze to death by the end of winter. People weren't lying when they said the humidity makes it even colder. It might feel even cold because my fam keeps sending me picture from Mexico..... It okay I am not butt hurt or anything. Really though this week has been really good! We met some really cool old ladies the other day. Oh man it was so much fun! We were going to check on an old investigator just to see how she was doing. She wasn't home but, her mom and aunt were. They let us in and we talked with them for a little bit and it was a party. They were telling us stories from when they were young, and I was dying I was laughing so hard! It was like when Joyce tells her stories. It was a great time! One of the ladies’ name Lucy was a biker when she was younger and oh man does she have some great stories.

Now onto some more spiritual stuff after that mess. I read some great and little confusing stuff. Getting into the Isaiah chapters are rough but, President Brown told me that I just need to take it slow through them. He also told me that Isaiah was a poet so, he repeats himself in different ways. If you can understand maybe the first couple of verses, then you can get the rest. It has really helped me. Oh, and using the footnotes are in Isaiah help too. Anyways, the thing I wanted to talk about was in 2 Nephi 9. It is just the first line in verse 13. It just says, "O how great the plan of our God!". I just love that because it is so true! This plan of happiness that God has for us is perfect and is made for each one of us. He really thought through everything. It is a plan that will not fail and if you follow it and do what God wants you to do. That my friend is where you find TRUE and LASTING happiness and joy.

After that little rant let's tell some funny stories. We were knocking on doors one night. Not a lot of people were answer so we would just leave a card. We were going through and it was mine turn and knocked and waited a little and no one was coming. I started to put a card in the door and this lady opened the door and I almost fell into her. Hahahaha. Then she was asking us what we wanted, and I just stared at her because my mind when completely blank. Hahahaha. That was one of my most awkward door approaches ever! Oh, we went over to a members house to heat up our dinner and she was nice and just let us eat there while she waited for her son who was coming to go out to dinner with her. Well, we just were sitting there talking to her as we ate and in walks her son. He looks at us and says, "Really mom are you trying to gang up on me now." Hahahaha. We did get to know him a little bit and talk with him.

Well, that's it for my week! Hope all is well with you guys!

 Love ya,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week #16 - I am in Charge Now

Hello people of normal life! Things here in the missionary world are going great! I got a new comp this week. Her name is Sister Lloyd she is from Oregon and has been out for 10 months which is a huge blessing! She is awesome and is such a hard work which is great because we got a lot of work to get done here in Alliance. I don't really know what else to really say about this week. It has been a party though!

Let's start with some funny stories. Well, I finally get to drive! Woot Woot. I have missed driving so much! The roads here are a little weird. You have some intersections that have like 5 different roads going to it. It is a mess, I miss the Utah road, the roads are just really bad. Anyways, I was sitting in the left turn lane waiting on the light. When this HUGE semi-truck starts turning right; The road was super narrow and it just starts heading right for us, This truck got within inches of hitting us. It was insane! My first day driving I almost got him by a semi..... fun. Another funny story we were knocking doors one day and for some reason every door we went up to had bugs ALL OVER it. Most of them were ladybugs. Which wasn't too bad until they started attacking us! They were flying all over us and I am pretty sure I inhaled one. Hahahahaha! It is all good though. We got an investigator on the street so, it was worth it. We also met a legit nun on that same street, it was a blessed day, she was the sweetest old lady! She told us that if we ever become Catholic she would put in a good word for us to become a nun. So, I got my hook ups in the Catholic church now!

Oh, and this week I will be reading 2 Nephi 9-13. Let me know where you guys are reading! I love hearing about wherever you are reading :)

Well, that's all for this week!

Love ya,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week #15 - RIP Sister Boren 10/27/2017

What's up world? Jk it’s probably just my parents and grandparents. So, hello Mom, Dad, Joyce, Grammy, Papa, and Grandpa. How you guys doing?  Out here all things are going great! Good things are happening here. I got to mow Brother Maxon's lawn. Which means I got to ride on the ride on lawn mower again. THE BEST NEWS IS THAT OUR INVESTIGATOR KAREN GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was amazing! Words can describe what you feel when you see someone change and enter the waters of baptism. It is just wonderful! Other than that, we have transfers this week and Sister Boren is leaving me and I will be staying here and getting a new companion. I will miss Sister Boren but, it will be great! She is going to Perry which is right by the lake so, she will be getting a lot snow. I will just be here laughing at her. I probably just cursed myself by saying that. Oh well.

I guess we will go onto the reading. :) Well, these are some crazy chapters. You have Lehi dying then Nephi and everyone else that is righteous follow him. Which means they left part of their family because they have been wicked. I mean I know that I have fought with my siblings but, it hasn't been so bad that the Lord commands me to leave. Well, maybe, He sent we all the way out here. JK I love my family. Anyways, I love the scripture 2 Nephi 5: 27 after all this their dad dying and their brothers being real wicked they say, "we lived after the manner of happiness". After all of this they still were following God and finding true happiness and peace in this life. That is so amazing! I know that is true that NO MATTER what you are going through Jesus Christ know and understands and it is through Him that we can find true happiness. That is how we live after the manner of happiness.

Now onto the funnies. My family sent me a package this week. Thanks fam! We made this gingerbread house they sent us one night and it was mess. We may or may not have an icing stain on our carpet.... oops. Also, it is funny because I can't even eat it and Sister Boren doesn't like it. It was fun to make though!  My fam also sent me some Halloween decorations so, our apartment is decorated for Christmas and Halloween. It is a true party now. Speaking of parties Sister Boren and I had glow stick party. We also did makeovers hahahahaha. It was great because neither of us really know how to do make up. It turned out really great just look at the pics. Well, sorry this is all over the place. That's all the funny things I can think of this week.

Have a great week!

Love all y'all,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week # 14 - The Crazy Fun Times Continues 10/11/2017

Hello everybody!

This is going to be short because we got to go to the temple today! WOOT WOOT! I love the temple and all y’all in Utah better go to the temple a lot because you have so many so close! We have to drive 3 HOURS to get to the closest temple! It is awesome to see the faith and strength of the members out here to go to the temple. Most of the active members go a least once a month! Which is crazy to me. They are willing to drive pretty far and sacrifice a lot of their time to get to the temple. It has been such a great testimony builder of the work that goes on in the temple and the truthfulness of this restored gospel.

A couple of funny stories and then I got to go. First one Sister Boren decide that our car was a race car..... we’ll surprise it isn’t. We have this little box thing in our car that yells at us when we go to fast, but it turns off a lot of the time. It turned off so, Sister Boren decided to speed up. Right in front of us was some train tracks and just kept going. After the train tracks the road kind of drops off and so we got some air and then right when we land the box came on, gave Sister Boren an aggressive driving 😂😂😂😂😂  Okay one more. We played dodge ball with our district last prep day! That was a party! There was only the 4 Elders and us 2 Sisters, we played everyone against everyone. Well, if you don’t know I kind of have and arm.... well I might have given one or two of the Elders welts. After that my district has decide that if all of us were in the hunger games I would win 😂😂😂😂 Well it has been a fun week like always!

Oh, also I am reading in 2 Nephi 4-8 I would love to hear about your reading even if you aren’t where I am. I love the scriptures so much and I would love to hear anything you are learning from them!

Have a fabulous, fantastic, and ferocious week! 😄

 Love ya all!

Sister Barrow Week #13 - Finding Jesus 10/4/2017

Hello Everybody!

Conference was awesome!  We got to watch it with members which was so much fun! We also got to watch the Kirtland video that was played in between session on Sunday. It was cool to watch the video because I have now been to places and connect with them a little more. The video was really cool and does a great job giving you a short history of Kirtland and what happen here.  Conference was so good I don't even know what is one thing I could email about. I did love Elder Hollands talk in Saturday morning session. One thing he said that I really liked is, "perfection is still pending." I loved that so much because we aren't expected to be perfect in this life. We are expected to try our best in what we are doing. Giving our real try to what we are doing.

Hollands talked reminded me of something from the reading in 2 Nephi 2:6 which talks about Jesus Christ and it is only through him that we are able to be saved. It is because of Jesus Christ that we are able to make mistakes and still be able to return to live with Heavenly Father. It is because of Him that we don't have to be perfect and all we have to do is try. What great news is that!? We just need to do our best!

Okay now onto the funny stuff because I know this is probably the only thing people actually read. So, we were out knocking on doors and just doing the normal things. We ended up knocking on a Jehovah Witness door. I have no idea what happened but, we somehow left her porch with a pamphlet. It was one of the most confusing experiences of my life. Sister Boren and I read through the pamphlet and it was so funny. Then later in the week we knocked on this lady door, named Candy. Yes, her name was Candy. Well she wasn't interested but, we told her we love to do service and if she ever needs anything to call us. Well, we start on the next house. We got to the end of the street and started to walk back to our car. Candy then calls us back and tells us that she wants to talk to us. She then asks us a whole bunch of questions. She was just curious on what we believe. You know we be super weird Mormons. By the end of it she says that we need to find Jesus more and just read out of the Bible and then tells us that she will be praying that we will be saved. Hahahaha. People are funny. Oh, one more last thing we went and visited a less active named Sister Long. She is a crazy old lady. This last time we were over there she told us all about here crush on like a 25-year-old delivery man. She told us about how he had a really cute butt and how she would flirt with him. OH MAN! I had no idea what to say! She just kept talking about him. hahahaha good times.

Have a great week!

Love all y'all,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week #12 - The Fun Continues in Ohio 9-27-2017

 Leaves are changing
 Ohio Country Road
Sister Barrow and Sister Boren

Hello Friends and Family! This has been another SOLID week in the great Ohio! First off, we got to watch Women's Conference! It was so good! I loved Sister Eubank's talk. We as women are what is going to build the church. How cool is that? I invite all of you to go watch Women's Conference and go watch the rest of General Conference this weekend. You can find it at lds.org

Reading was great! I thought a verse in 1 Nephi 22 is fitting for this week because of General Conference. It is verse 20. It talks about how the Lord will prepare a way for His people. He will call a prophet and if you want to follow Him (God) then you need to listen to the prophet. Lucky us we get to listen to the prophet and apostle this weekend. Well, like always I am going to keep reading on into 2 Nephi and I am going to read chapter 1, 2, and 3. I also would love to hear anything you learn from conference this week. :)

Well, you know it wouldn't be a normal week if I didn't do something stupid. This week I accidently whistled at an old man in some tight biker shorts..... We were just walking in a park talking to some people and I started whistling. Well, right when I started whistling we passed this guy in the biker shorts. So, I basically cat called an old man in biker shorts. We also lost our phone for a whole day... It is all good though. We found it after a wild goose chase to find it. It is kind of funny that we didn't have it for a day and we only missed 6 texts... obviously no one likes us... JK it was all good.

Hope y'all have a great week! Have a great time watching conference!

Love you all,

Sister Barrow

Sister Barrow Week #11 - The Murder of Sister Barrow... Hahaha JK Brother Crish still likes me 9-20-2017

 The paint mess, story below
Riding lawn mower she was so excited for this....
And the slime she got stuck to the ceiling.....
Another crazy week in Ohio. It is a party out here! To start off our investigator Karen has committed to a baptism date!! Woot Woot! She is such a cute lady. She is also going out to good old Salt Lake to see general conference. She is so excited about it. She is going to buy her scripture out there so she can have legit scripture. Karen is so funny. We also got a new investigator named Seth who we met at the park and he told us we could call him pancake. He is pretty cool as you can tell. We also thought that our favorite 91 year old lady Sister Stiver died. She didn't she just asked too many people for a ride to church and no one could get a hold of her. Aw man what a lady. Gave everyone a heart attack but, she is all good. Oh, also I got to drive a riding lawn mower this week so, it has been a pretty fantastic week.

Reading for this week was good. I love The Book of Mormon. In 1 Nephi 15:8 it says, "And I said unto them: Have ye inquired of the Lord?". It is a really short verse but, it reminded me of a less active we are working with. Brother Maxon he has a hard time understanding The Book of Mormon so, we asked him to pray before and ask for help in understanding. He is now getting so much more out of it. He is understanding the story now of what is going on. It is awesome. So, have you inquired of the Lord? Have you asked Him for help in what you need? I am going to be reading 1 Nephi 19-22

Now onto some funny stories. Well, I spilled like a gallon of paint all over the Crish's house. We went over there Wednesday to finish painting. I was just doing some trim work, nothing too hard. Well I was on the ladder getting the top and went to step down and I started falling but, I caught myself on the ladder. The ladder moved a little because I did that and hit a cord on the floor and the paint can went flying. It got all over their living room. I thought Brother Crish was going to kill me! I saw my life flash before my eyes. Luckily it mostly on their carpet. Which they are getting rid of!!! Then on Sunday we had an appointment with a less active, Brother Fink, we were reading The Book of Mormon with him. Sister Boren was reading and she said wonton (like wonton soup) instead of wanton. Then her and the member we brought with us, Sister Saxey, laughed so hard at it that they started to cry. Brother Fink and I just stared at them trying to figure out what was wrong with them. Well, that is it for this week. Well, that is basically all that has happened this week. Hopefully I don't make a mess of anything else.

Have a fabulous week!

 Love,

 Sister Barrow
